My Sephora Beauty Insider Sale Order- April 2021

It’s that time again! The Sephora Spring Savings Event is here, and you don’t want to miss out on this incredible sale! The access dates and amount of savings depend on your Sephora Beauty Insider tier, but everyone can benefit from the deals by becoming an Insider today. I love to take advantage of the Sephora sale every time it comes around by restocking on my favorites and usually grabbing a new product or two. While I’m waiting for my order to come in, I thought I’d share what I’ve picked out. This time around I mostly stuck to my basics—some of these are holy grails for me!

Here's what I got:

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Full Price: $50 for 0.95 oz

This is my absolute favorite eye cream for nighttime. I generally have dehydrated skin, especially around my eyes. Since I rarely wear makeup these days, my skin takes a serious beating whenever I do! A little bit goes a loooong way and as the name suggests, it really is ultra creamy. The main benefit of this eye cream is hydration, but it also claims to visibly brighten and depuff after one use. I don’t wear it during the day, but it also claims to act as a makeup primer. As always, not every product will work with everyone’s skin type. If you’re prone to milia, be especially careful with this product since it is so thick. It’s also available in a mini size at $32 for 0.5 oz!

Verb Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner Jumbo Set for Dry and Damaged Hair

Full Price: $68 for two 32 fl oz bottles

I mentioned that I have dehydrated skin, which was something I had to learn about in recent years that has totally changed my skincare game. There is a difference between dry sky and dehydrated skin, just like there is a difference between having dandruff and just dry scalp! I’ve suffered from a dry, itchy scalp for a number of years, often scratching until blood would come up under my nails (not pretty, I know). I recently learned that although shampoos such as Head & Shoulders claim to soothe dry scalp, they are actually highly irritating and can be more drying if you don’t truly have dandruff. I did a ton of research into the best products for dry scalp. Most of the highly recommended products came at high-end salon prices, but I decided to go with the Verb Hydrating line. With all Verb shampoos and conditioners priced at $18 for the standard 12 oz bottle, it’s a great mid-price point option. Plus, this set saves you $12 off the price of buying each value size bottle separately. I definitely notice a difference in my hair and scalp when I use both the shampoo and conditioner together! I’m extremely lucky to be able to maintain healthy, long hair and am not so picky when it comes to hair products. I typically use whatever clean, cheap shampoo and conditioner I can find at Target, but taking the time to research and use products targeting my concerns has been completely worth it!

CLINIQUE Mini Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

Full Price: $10 for 1oz

Using an oil cleanser as a first-step cleanser is an absolute must! If you wear sunscreen or makeup (and everyone should wear sunscreen daily, thus everyone should be using an oil cleanser), using an oil cleanser is the only way to properly breakdown the product on your skin. While this is not the product I use every day (that would be the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil), it is my absolute favorite for travel! This mini size is perfect to keep in your toiletry bag and since it is a balm and not an oil, there’s no chance of a leaky mess in your suitcase.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Medium Brown

Full Price: $23

I’ve been a diehard Anastasia fan for eyebrow products for about a decade. Before getting ombré powder brows (a type of permanent makeup similar to microblading), the only product I would recommend for that *on fleek* brow look is the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade. While I go most days without using any products to fill in my brows, when I do a full makeup look I still want something to give a little extra help to my brows and make them stand out. I love this thicker, triangular tip of the Brow Definer, but the ultra slim Brow Wiz is the more popular cult favorite!

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops in Medium

Full Price: $22

This is the only new product I picked up during this sale, but I’m super excited to try it! I rarely use fake tanning products, but from time to time try them out for special occasions. I’ve been intrigued by Isle of Paradise since its launch in 2018 and have finally decided to try it out for myself! To use, you add 2-12 drops to your moisturizer or body lotion, using more or less to customize your desired level of tan. With travel looking up from the rest of 2021, I’ll be using this to fake that “spent all week on the beach” glow!

That’s all folks! While I love to splurge on certain items (like shoes and purses), I’m also extremely frugal and budget conscious when it comes to a lot of my shopping. Everything I mentioned that I’ve used before and love comes with my highest recommendation! So are you already awaiting your shipment or are you still planning out your cart?

Be sure to follow me on Instagram @sarahsoldauweddings for an unboxing haul when my order arrives! Until then, I’ll be trying not to place a second (or third or fourth) order before the sale ends on April 19th.
